MintMonster uniquely contains the ability to mass mint a trending NFT over tens or even hundreds of wallets using the included Mass Minter. These wallets are configured in the Settings menu, and the keys are stored on your local machine.
The private keys for the wallets you create within MintMonster are only stored in your local browser. You will need to export these to back them up or transfer them to another machine.
When you mint from MintMonster, your transactions are signed locally in your browser using these wallets. The Private Keys are not stored on or communicated to MintMonster.io
The private keys to your wallets, are the same as the money in your wallet. If anyone has your keys, they have access to your funds. Never share them with anyone, and export them from MintMonster and store them in a safe location, preferably offline.
Wallets are managed using the Settings Menu at the top of the main screen via the cog icon:
Once the Settings menu appears, click the Wallet Setup tab at the top:
When creating wallets in MintMonster, you can either create brand new Wallets and disperse funds to them from an existing wallet, or import existing wallets using Private Keys or Seed Phrases, as outlined below.
To create a quantity of new wallets, enter a prefix for the wallet names into the highlighted Name Prefix field, and the number of wallets you want created into the Quantity field and click the Create button:
The specified quantity of wallets will be created randomly.
Be sure to export the Private Keys for the wallets before funding them.
To import a single wallet using a known private key, enter the name of the wallet into the Name field and the private key into the Private Key field and click the Import button to add the wallet to MintMonster:
A single seed phrase can create an almost unlimited number of wallets, each with a different address. Metamask uses a single seed phrase but can let you create multiple wallets all from the same phrase. Each wallet created from a seed phrase has a different index, known as a derived path.
To import multiple wallets using a seed phrase, enter a prefix for the wallet names in the Name Prefix field, the number of wallets you require in the Quantity field, and the seed phrase into the Seed Phrase field:
Once the wallets have been created using the above mechanisms, the list of wallets along with their names, addresses and balances will be displayed on the Wallet Setup screen:
Above the list of wallets, are a row of buttons for the following operations:
Sort Wallets
Sort the list of wallets by Name
Import Wallets
Import Wallets from a JSON file created by the Export Wallets function
Export Wallets
Export the list of wallets as a JSON file*
Delete Wallets
Delete all the wallets listed**
*When exporting wallets, do not store the JSON file online or share it with anyone. Anyone with this file has access to your funds
**Ensure you have exported your wallets or have a record of the Seed Phrase or Private Key used to recreate them. If you chose to create random wallets, the same one will not be recreated when adding more
In additional to deleting all wallets, you can delete individual wallets by clicking the red x button to the right of the wallets.
For all wallets setup in MintMonster, the current balance will be displayed to the right.
